This ‘Supplemental Resource’ (SR) presents select information including common acronyms, abbreviations, symbols, chemical formulas, a select glossary of terms with definitions, and associated resources used within BOE PG’s (BOe’s) organization.
The SR is designed as a resource for use by BOe’s associates and its clients. The SR is designed primarily for use in a digital format; however, if formatted such that it may be presented in a printed format. Authorized cd-roms & printed copies are available from BOe.
Access to the entire SR is available on BOe’s informational blog at http://boeresource.wordpress.com or via cd-rom. The digital versions allow you to search its content to find abbreviations, acronyms, symbols, synonyms, using a search engine. The SR is best used via cd-rom with an internet connection because it contains numerous hyper-indexed links to other available sites.
Style conventions used by BOe are generally consistant with those commonly used in industry; however, some modifications may exist. For additional information on BOe’s style conventions see the section entitled Conventions.
This SR is presented to BOe’s clients for use in concert with other documents presented as instruments of service according to contracted which includes BOe’s general terms and conditions & license agreements – see the section entitled Legal Conditions. Where accessed for free use via the internet, its use is provided under the general terms and conditions in effect at the time of use as provided in the Legal section of the website. The SR is designed to be a growing and evolving volume which is consistently updated and expanded. Currently, the SR is presented in an ‘Initial Draft’ format and is anticipated to have typographical errors, Periodically, BOe publishes updated SRs with additional entries, corrections, etc. implemented.
